The sanctuary is her way of bringing them back. It’s a space created with intention, to support butterflies and other pollinators,
create some beautiful enchantment, and restore a small piece of balance for us humans to indulge in.

Create moments of enchantment and awe where the noise of the world dissolves because a fascinating flower just made you forget your own name!
Plant native and beneficial flora for the enrichment of pollinators.
Share information about gardening, habitat creation and the role of pollinators in increasing food security and beauty.
Enhance biodiversity to stimulate the health, resilience, and productivity of ecosystems.
Collaboration: It takes a village to raise a baby. The web of connections between our values, talents, forms and contributions runs deep, deeper than the daydreaming in a hammock can comprehend sometimes!! We believe the more we can interconnect the more that every connection point can prosper. And not just us as humanoids, we’re talking interspecies play between peoples, soils, rocks, butterflies, flowers, fires etc. The cascading chain of support never ends, so let’s get together and ripple out some goodness.
Awe: Does it inspire profound wonder, respect, and amazement? If it leads to feelings of being humbled, and snaps you into the here and now, we’re down to align with it.
Revitalization: Empowering the neglected to fly, fall and reform in it’s fullest fervency!
Sanctuary: Petals up, worries down!! By offering the feeding, breeding and shelter grounds our flying pollinator friends need to thrive we help them to stay alive. In turn, by creating sanctuary for them they create sanctuary for us by giving us a magical meadow to relax, play and luxuriate in.
We are thrilled to offer The Petal Paradise, our not for profit flower farm and pollinator sanctuary for all to enjoy in Delta, BC – just minutes before the Tsawwassen BC Ferry Terminal. We currently rent this cozy slice of land. Our long term vision is to acquire a larger area of land that will be a dedicated pollinator sanctuary which will inspire deep nature connection and care. We endeavour to create expansive magical meadow landscapes, artfully ordaned with large scale living sculptures to spark that little bit of awe and action.
In the lead up to our public opening in July 2026 we have over 50 species of ornamental, edible and native flowers.
In the spirit of enhancing the web of connectivity, biodiversity and awe on site, we aim to increase our species to 100 by 2029. With a special focus on native plants which provide the host, nectar and pollen sites for our local wildlife, and are well adapted to thrive in their south coastal BC home.
